Oxo Rapid Brewer

Oxo Rapid Brewer

The Oxo Rapid Brew brings fast, convenient coffee concentrate or cold brew in under 5 minutes flat. The Rapid Brew achieves this by pressurizing your water and grounds with a pump, and after a short dwell time pulls a short concentrated shot either hot or cold. Easy to clean and small to store, the rapid brew makes your morning cups simple and fast.

What's In The Box
OXO Rapid Brewer, Carafe with lid, Power cord. Note: The Rapid Brewer uses pressurized extraction — it is NOT a traditional cold brew steeping system. It makes concentrated coffee in under 5 minutes using either room-temperature or cold water.

Setup & First Use

The OXO Rapid Brewer uses a pump to pressurize water through coarsely ground coffee for fast coffee concentrate — in under 5 minutes rather than 12–24 hours of steeping. It can use cold water (for cold brew-style concentrate) or hot water (for hot concentrated coffee).

Fill the water chamber with cold or hot water. Add coarsely ground coffee to the brew chamber. Seal the lid and plug in. The pump pressurizes the chamber, drives water through the grounds, and then pulls the concentrate through the bottom filter into the carafe. Total brew time: under 5 minutes.

Tutorials & Training

Cold Mode

Use cold or room-temperature water for a cold brew-style concentrate. The pressure extraction produces a concentrate similar in flavor to traditional cold brew but in a fraction of the time. The Rapid Brewer does not match the ultra-smooth profile of 24-hour steep cold brew but is excellent for quick, practical cold coffee preparation.

Hot Mode

Use hot water for a hot concentrated coffee. Dilute with hot water or milk at serving time. This produces a quick espresso-style concentrate suitable for Americanos or coffee-based drinks.

Grind Size

Use a medium-coarse grind — similar to traditional cold brew coarseness. Very fine grounds can clog the filter and slow extraction. Very coarse grounds may under-extract.

Cleaning & Maintenance

After Each Use

Discard spent grounds from the brew chamber. Rinse all components under warm water. The carafe, brew chamber, and filter are dishwasher safe.

Periodic

Run a water-only cycle monthly to flush the pump and internal water lines.

Troubleshooting

Concentrate Not Draining / Very Slow

Grind too fine. Use a coarser grind. Also check that the internal filter is clean and not clogged with dried grounds — remove and rinse.

Concentrate Too Weak

Increase coffee dose or run a second cycle. The Rapid Brewer is designed for a single concentrated extraction — it is not intended for multiple passes.
