Jura Cool Control Milk Cooler

Jura Cool Control Milk Cooler

Jura's milk-cooling companion just got a whole lot smarter. The Cool Control Milk Cooler brings crisp 39 degree temperatures to your one-touch lattes. The Cool Control offers optional smart connect functionality that syncs with compatible Jura superautomatics, a digital temperature display, and a volume indicator to keep track of your milk usage. With a dishwasher-safe design and a 0.6 Liter, 1 Liter, or 2.5 L capacity, the Cool Control will keep your cappuccinos ready at a moment's notice.

What's In The Box
Jura Cool Control milk cooler (1.0L / 34oz capacity), Stainless steel milk container (removable, dishwasher safe), Milk pipe for connection to Jura machine, Power cord.

Setup & First Use

Place the Cool Control on a level surface near your Jura machine. Plug in — the unit uses a Peltier cooling element (no compressor, very quiet). Connect the milk pipe from the Cool Control's outlet to your Jura machine's milk system input.

Remove the stainless steel milk container, fill with fresh cold milk (up to 1.0L / 34oz), and insert into the Cool Control. The unit will cool to and maintain 39°F (4°C) — the ideal temperature for producing consistent fine foam. The level indicator on the display shows current milk volume.

The Cool Control 1.0L is compatible with Smart Connect — if your Jura machine has Smart Connect (built-in Bluetooth on machines like the Z10, E8, S8), the machine and Cool Control communicate wirelessly to monitor milk levels and coordinate milk operations. For machines without Smart Connect, the Cool Control functions manually as a standard refrigerated milk supply.

Tutorials & Training

Optimal Milk Temperature

The Cool Control maintains milk at 39°F throughout the day — even during extended periods between coffee preparations. Cold milk produces finer, more stable foam than room-temperature milk. This is the key benefit over leaving milk out beside the machine.

Level Indicator

The front display shows both temperature and milk level. A low-milk indicator will alert you (and your Jura machine if Smart Connect-compatible) when the container needs refilling. Refill promptly — running the milk pump dry can cause wear.

Different Milk Types

Full-fat dairy milk produces the finest foam. Oat, almond, soy, and other plant-based milks produce foam with varying results — whole oat milk typically foams well; thinner plant milks may produce less stable foam. All milk types should be kept at 39°F in the Cool Control for best results.

Cleaning & Maintenance

Daily

Remove and empty the stainless steel milk container at the end of each day. The container is dishwasher safe — run it through the dishwasher or wash by hand with warm soapy water. Do not leave leftover milk in the container overnight.

Milk Pipe

Rinse the milk pipe with warm water after each use. Run the milk system clean cycle on your Jura machine, which will draw cleaning solution through the pipe and into the machine's milk circuit.

Exterior

Wipe the Cool Control exterior with a soft damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners. The unit is not dishwasher safe externally.

Troubleshooting

Not Cooling to 39°F

Allow 15–20 minutes after plugging in for the Peltier element to reach target temperature. Ensure the unit is on a well-ventilated surface — the rear vents must not be blocked. Ambient room temperatures above 80°F may reduce cooling efficiency.

Smart Connect Not Pairing

Ensure your Jura machine has Smart Connect capability. On compatible machines, access the Smart Connect menu and follow pairing instructions. The Cool Control must be within 3 feet of the machine for Bluetooth pairing.
