Jura Cool Control 2.5L Milk Cooler

Jura Cool Control 2.5L Milk Cooler

Everyone in the office can make their favorite steamed milk beverage thanks to the Jura Cool Control 2.5L Milk Cooler. This milk cooler is a perfect addition to the Jura Giga X and X lines with its easy fill design, low fill detection, and quick cleaning. Your milk will stay chilly and safe at 39°F, and when it runs low the cooler can wirelessly communicate with your Jura superautomatic espresso machine to indicate it is time for a refill. Thanks to Jura's elegant design, your office coffee set up will look fantastic. Milk container and metal tube are dishwasher safe. 2.5l (84oz.) capacity.

What's In The Box
Jura Cool Control milk cooler (2.5L / 85oz capacity), Large removable milk container (dishwasher safe), Milk pipe with handle, Power cord. Note: The 2.5L Cool Control is designed for professional/office use alongside the Jura W8, Giga series, and X-series machines.

Setup & First Use

Place the 2.5L Cool Control on a stable, level surface next to the Jura W8, Giga 10, or X-series machine. The large footprint requires adequate counter or shelf space. Plug in and allow cooling to begin.

Fill the large milk container (up to 2.5L / 85oz) with fresh cold milk. The container has an integrated handle for easy transport. Connect the milk pipe to the machine's milk system. The Cool Control communicates wirelessly with compatible machines to display milk level on the machine's interface — ensuring no surprise mid-drink empty.

The 2.5L model uses a two-stage cooling system for high ambient environments and includes a display showing both temperature and milk level. Fill level detection alerts the machine when milk is low, preventing empty-tank foam attempts.

Tutorials & Training

Office Milk Management

For an office of 10–20 people making 30–50 drinks per day, the 2.5L capacity typically needs refilling once per day. The wireless low-level alert to the machine display means staff know to refill before running out mid-service.

Large Container Hygiene

For best hygiene and taste, empty and wash the container daily even if milk remains — opened milk should be replaced within 24–48 hours. The wide opening of the 2.5L container makes thorough cleaning easier than smaller models.

Cleaning & Maintenance

Daily

Empty and dishwasher-clean the container each day. The container, handle, and metal milk tube are all dishwasher safe. Wipe the interior of the Cool Control unit with a damp cloth.

Weekly

Clean the milk pipe thoroughly. Run the Jura machine's milk system clean cycle, which draws cleaning solution through the pipe from the Cool Control.

Troubleshooting

Low Milk Alert Not Showing on Machine

The wireless communication requires the machine to support Smart Connect. Confirm your Jura machine model has this feature. If not, the Cool Control still functions — the low-milk warning displays on the Cool Control's own display only.

Cooling Insufficient for Office Temperature

The 2.5L model's cooling system is rated for ambient temperatures up to 86°F (30°C). In hot office environments, position the unit away from direct sunlight and heat sources. The rear and side vents must remain unobstructed for the cooling system to function.
