What's In The Box
Philips 3300 LatteGo superautomatic espresso machine, LatteGo milk carafe (2-part, dishwasher safe), Power cord. Note: AquaClean filter sold separately at seattlecoffeegear.com.

Setup & First Use

Place on a level surface. Fill the 1.8L front-loading water tank. Fill the 250g bean hopper. Follow first-use setup on the display. The LatteGo milk carafe attaches to the side of the machine — fill with cold milk and click into position before selecting any milk-based recipe.

The 3300 LatteGo offers 6 specialties: espresso, ristretto, coffee, lungo, hot milk, and iced coffee. The LatteGo system uses cyclonic frothing technology to automatically produce smooth foam for milk drinks — no steam wand required. This model is QuietMark-certified for quieter operation than earlier models.

The ceramic grinder is adjustable in 12 steps. AquaClean filtration allows up to 5,000 cups without descaling when the filter (sold separately) is installed.

Tutorials & Training

LatteGo Milk System

Fill the two-part LatteGo carafe with cold milk. Click it onto the machine's milk connector. Select a milk drink (cappuccino, latte, flat white) and the machine automatically froths and dispenses milk in the correct sequence. The LatteGo's two-part design requires only 15 seconds to rinse under the tap — no tubes or complex disassembly.

Iced Coffee Mode

Select the iced coffee option to brew a concentrated shot optimized for serving over ice. Brew directly into a glass of ice — the concentration compensates for dilution from the ice. This is one step above just brewing a regular espresso over ice.

6 Specialties Customization

Each recipe's strength (5 levels), volume, milk volume, and temperature can be adjusted. Access settings by holding the desired recipe button while it brews.

Cleaning & Maintenance

Daily — Coffee Circuit

The 3300 LatteGo automatically rinses at startup and shutdown. Empty the drip tray and grounds container when prompted on the display. Always rinse promptly — overfull grounds containers cause errors.

Daily — LatteGo Milk System

After preparing milk drinks, rinse the LatteGo by removing it and holding both pieces under running water for 15 seconds — the two-part design makes this fast. The LatteGo is also dishwasher safe. For a thorough clean, press the milk cleaning button on the machine which runs a steam rinse cycle automatically.

AquaClean Filter

Install an AquaClean filter in the water tank when prompted. The filter tracks usage via the machine's counter — with the filter installed you can brew up to 5,000 cups without descaling. Replace the filter approximately every 3 months or when the machine prompts you.

Descaling

If you are not using the AquaClean filter, descale when the machine prompts using Philips Saeco descaler tablets. With the filter, descaling may never be needed under normal use. Follow all on-screen instructions during descaling — the process takes approximately 30 minutes.

Brew Group

Remove and rinse the brew group under warm water weekly (for high-use machines) or monthly. The brew group slides out from the left side of the machine. Rinse only — do not use soap on the brew group. Reinstall when still damp.

Troubleshooting

Weak Espresso / No Crema

Grind is too coarse or dose is too low. Adjust the grinder one step finer (if the machine allows grind adjustment). Also check bean freshness — stale beans produce less crema.

Machine Not Brewing / Error

Check water tank level, bean supply, and grounds container. Ensure the brew group is properly installed. Most error messages are solved by checking these three items and restarting the machine.

Grounds Container Prompt Too Frequent

The grounds container counts pucks rather than measuring weight. If you're using very fine grounds or double shots, it fills faster. Empty when prompted — waiting causes overflow errors.

AquaClean Not Registering

Ensure the AquaClean filter is fully seated in the water tank and the machine has run a full rinse cycle after installation. The machine must detect the filter before it starts tracking.
