Fiorenzato AllGround Sense Espresso Grinder

Fiorenzato AllGround Sense Espresso Grinder

Looking for a grinder that can do it all? Look no further than the Fiorenzato AllGround Sense Espresso and Coffee Grinder. Designed to bring grind-by-weight accuracy to any brew method, the Sense features a built-in load cell and weight programmable dosing for each of its brew methods. The Sense can...sense what grind range you've set the grinder in, and adjusts its touchscreen interface and programming to match—Red for espresso grinds, Blue for moka pots and other fine grind methods, and Green for filter brewing. The espresso grind range gets 2 programmable doses and a manual grind option, while moka and filter ranges get 3 doses each. Grind settings are easily repeatable thanks to the Sense's micro-step grind adjust and clear markings. This grind adjustment system pairs well with Fiorenzato's 64mm 'Dark-T' coated burrs, which do an admirable job at grinding across ranges and promise extended service life thanks to their titanium-based coating. Other barista-focused features include a sound-insulated case for quieter grinding, tool-free access to the burrs for cleaning, and a just-right half-pound hopper capacity for everyday use.

What's In The Box
Fiorenzato AllGround Sense espresso and coffee grinder, Portafilter fork (adjustable, removable), Ground coffee container/dosing cup, Power cord.

Setup & First Use

Before first use, remove all packaging. Place on a stable flat surface and connect power. Season the burrs with 30–50g of whole beans, discard grounds, before first use.

The AllGround Sense upgrades the standard AllGround with a built-in load cell scale for grind-by-weight dosing. The machine weighs the output in real time and stops grinding when the target weight is reached — eliminating the need for a separate scale for dosing.

The Sense automatically detects your current grind range from the collar position and changes the touchscreen display and color: Red for espresso, Blue for moka, Green for filter. Each range gets its own set of programmable weight-based doses.

Fill the bean hopper and lock the lid. Adjust the micrometric grind collar to your target range. Place the portafilter or ground coffee container under the outlet. Set your target weight on the touchscreen and press start.

Tutorials & Training

Grind-by-Weight Dosing

Set your target dose weight on the touchscreen for each brewing method. The Sense's load cell measures actual ground coffee output and stops at your target weight — compensating for density variation between different coffees. Set espresso doses typically to 18–20g; moka pot doses vary by pot size; filter doses typically 15–30g. Program weight presets for each method through the touchscreen.

Color-Coded Mode Detection

As you rotate the grind collar, the Sense detects the range automatically and switches the screen color: Red (espresso) — finest range, 2 weight presets + manual; Blue (moka) — medium-fine, 3 presets; Green (filter) — medium to medium-coarse, 3 presets. This prevents accidentally programming a filter dose weight in the espresso range.

Micro-Step Adjustment

The micro-step collar provides high adjustment resolution — small, repeatable increments across the range. Each click is a defined step (10µm increment) allowing precise dialing in and repeatability. Mark your optimal setting with the marked scale on the collar for easy reference when returning to a bean after switching.

Tool-Free Burr Access

The upper burr lifts out without tools for cleaning access. Remove and reinstall the upper burr per the instruction manual for periodic cleaning. Run a small amount of beans after reinstalling before brewing.

Cleaning & Maintenance

After Each Session

Brush the grind outlet and portafilter fork area. Wipe the exterior. Do not use water on the grinding chamber or burrs.

Weekly

Remove and wash the bean hopper and dosing container. Dry completely before reinstalling.

Monthly — Burrs

Remove the upper burr (tool-free). Brush both burr surfaces to clear oil buildup. Reinstall and run beans before brewing.

Load Cell Calibration

If dose weights become consistently inaccurate, the load cell may need recalibration. Follow the calibration procedure in the instruction manual. Avoid placing heavy objects on the dosing platform when not in use.

Troubleshooting

Dose Weight Inconsistent

Check that the portafilter fork or dosing container is seated correctly on the load cell platform. Ensure the platform is clean and free of debris that could interfere with weighing. Recalibrate the load cell if consistent inaccuracy persists.

Color Mode Not Changing

Rotate the grind collar further — the Sense needs to pass the threshold between ranges for the color to change. If the screen stays one color across the full collar range, power cycle and recalibrate.
